Sole Cafe

684 Snelling Ave N.

St. Paul

     •     Korean Seafood Pancake 12.95

Sole Cafe was amazing. First the people who own it are very friendly on arrival. Granted it was Sunday and we were the first there, but still the greeting was one of the warmest we have had. My seafood pancake was stellar. Probably not all that good for me, but definitely good tasting. I will go back the next time I am in the area and need some Korean food.

     •     Bulgogi $14.95

The bulgogi at Sole Cafe is delicious. I don't know if it's a truism or not, but in my book any Korean restaurant that is worth its salt has a good version of bulgogi. Sole Cafe's version was pungently sweet, and the meat was very tender. The side dishes (banchan) were also very good. Sole Cafe passes the bulgogi test, and I hope that we get back eventually for another round.
